1. They should never be washed in the washing machine.
2. Remove dust and debris with a brush.
3. Rub the stains with a cloth moistened with cold water. If it is persistent, add a drop of neutral soap to the cloth (non-aggressive, Marseille soap or shower gel).
4. Baby hygiene wipes can work if they do not contain alcohol (test on an inconspicuous area first).
5. Do not use ammonia, or any household product, which may contain chemicals that damage or discolor the skin.
6. Let it dry in the shade and never with a direct heat source (do not use a hairdryer or place it in front of a radiator or heater).
7. If the skin has been damaged, a skin repair agent (Kanfor or Kiwi type) can be used. Do not apply on suede leather.
8. You can apply colorless shoe cream when they are clean and dry to maintain the shine and flexibility of the leather.
9. If the stain is from oil, grease, or pen and has penetrated your skin, you will have to learn to live with it.
10. If the leather is suede, keep in mind that it may darken when washed with soap.
